Save The Best For Last

Winnie the Pooh and I should be friends. I think we'd have grand adventures together...

...and those adventures would absolutely be about "hunny".

I unwrapped one of my last Czech honey jars from its tight bubble-wrapping today, and was happy to find out I had saved the best for last. Creamed spring flower honey. Absolutely divine.

I'm not sure how my love for honey started, but it's definitely grown over the years and I am now quite enamored with it. Just like Pooh Bear. I definitely like honey better than candy and can eat it straight off the spoon. Sometimes it never makes it into my tea because I like it on its own too much.

And so another day is brightened by honey! What makes your day feel brighter?

  2. The area that we live in upstate New York is full of honey. It's a great by-product of the vineyards & orchards.

I'll have to get some of our local stuff and send it back with nathan (if he has space in his suitcase).

It won't be Czech honey, but may get you through a cold, Chicago winter with a little comfort.

Grace & I are into local honeys and often try out new "hives". We brought some back from Washington when we were visiting my brother this summer. I loved the blackberry honey.
