Today was a bit of an adventure.
Dad and I picked up Tyler and Lara this morning to go to church (which is about a 45 minute drive from their apartment). We left early enough to get to church on time for the adult sunday school. However, we didn't arrive there until sunday school was almost over.
It was just a case of confusion in directions, and we all laughed about it when we realized we were going the wrong way. At least we got more time to connect together, and it also led to capturing some photos as well.
Since we didn't make it for sunday school, we had a few minutes before the service started. I happened to have my camera with me, since I was on my way back to Moody with all my stuff from the Thanksgiving weekend.
What started out as getting to church a little later than expected turned into picture taking with these two. It was one of those moments where the Patty saying fit - "Might as well!"
We even had time to talk to people before the service started, and then enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship and heard a great message to start off the Advent. What could have been a stressful morning was actually a delightful morning instead!
