I just can't help but stop for a minute and take notice of the fact that I only have 2 MORE WEEKS left in my first semester at Moody.
I have finals coming up, projects and assignments due, events to attend, and I have to pack up my room, because I'll be moving to a different room next semester. There's lots ahead, but it doesn't seem overwhelming. Staying grounded in the Word, and keeping perspective on everything helps me not feel as stressed. It's these times that I'm thankful for Maturita, because it taught me valuable skills of coping and persevering. I still have to choose not to panic, but it's better than it used to be.
I'm looking forward to these two weeks, and I don't want them to just pass by. It is the Christmas season, after all, finals or no finals! The Good News of Jesus' birth is just as relevant as ever, and I want to celebrate that, even with school work to be done!
