Yesterday, I officially graduated from Beskydy Mountain Academy!!! The beginning of the end for me, really, but also the beginning of a new beginning. The graduation ceremony was so sweet and personal, and it made me feel even more honored to have been a part of this school for the past four years. What a privilege to belong to the community there, but also to witness God's movement in and through that school.
I have said this before, but I am going to miss my class! Yesterday I saw them for the last time all together.
Read more about yesterday on my mom's blog: here.
Today meant so much to me too. Friends and family gathered to celebrate Jacob's, Hayley's and my graduation. To see so many dear people gathered in one place made my heart happy. Even Tyler and Lara got to come down from JV intern training for the afternoon to be there with us! In fact, because intern training started today, more unexpected people were able to be with us, making it even more special. Thank you to everyone who came!
Here are all the graduates, and their parents. We couldn't have done it without you all!!
Jacob, Hayley, Noah, and I. It's fun being "cousins" (more like brothers and sisters though) all these years with these three!

Now as I'm sitting here, the most spectacular fireworks are going off somewhere in the distance, and I have the best view of them from my window. What a perfect ending to my day! I don't know where they're coming from, but it sure is a sweet last graduation gift from my Heavenly Father.
What's next in this journey?
I have the whole Summer ahead of me here in Czech. I leave for the States on August 15th, as I head to Moody Bible Institute. Of course, the thought of leaving Czech scares me sometimes, but I am getting excited for Moody now that I can actually focus on it. Adventure awaits!
I love this post too!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love that I don't have to put in those dumb numbers and letters anymore when I want to leave a comment! Good job figuring that out!
